Rabea holds a PhD in Cultural Studies from Goldsmiths, University of London. Her thesis, “The Reconfiguration of Urban Places of (Re-)Production. Airbnb and Coworking in Berlin” analyses the impact of financialised real estate speculation and platform companies on both labour and socio-spatial transformations using Berlin as a case study.

At the Centre, Rabea works on a radical democratic theory of socialisation. Her research explores how socialised infrastructures of production and reproduction enable socio-ecological transformations.
