Rahel is a full Professor for Practical and Social Philosophy and director of the Centre for Social Critique at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. Her main historical research is Critical Theory, her main systematic reasearch Social Philosophy, Social Theory, Social Ontology and Anthropology, Political Philosophy and Ethics.

Robin is a full Professor for Practical and Social Philosophy at Freie Universität Berlin and co-director of the Centre for Social Critique at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. His current work mainly focuses on critical theory, civil disobedience, democracy, migration and citizenship.

Isette Schuhmacher is a research associate at the Center for Humanities and Social Change at Humboldt-University, Berlin. In her dissertation she develops a philosophical concept of crisis, building on Theodor W. Adorno`s and Walter Benjamin`s accounts of dialectics and social transformation.

Marvin is a research associate at the Centre for Social Critique at Humboldt University in Berlin. In his dissertation entitled “Narcissism and Ideology,” he develops a social-philosophical-psychoanalytical theory of regressive politics as a social-structurally induced crisis of social freedom, following Karl Marx, Sigmund Freud, Michael Bálint, Cornelius Castoriadis, and Theodor W. Adorno.

Since September 2023, Charlie is the coordinator for the project Critical Theory Under Pressure (CritUP). They hold an MA in philosophy from the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and worked as a student research assistant at the Centre for Social Critique from 2018 to 2022.
