    Socialisation and Social Theory: a Conference Summary

    Socialisation – the process of reclaiming ow- nership and control of basic goods in society – is back on the table. In Berlin, a campaign for socialising large housing corporations won a public referendum by a landslide, and the push for its implementation carries on. The campaign put socialisation back in the pub- lic eye and revived Article 15 of the German Basic Law, arguably making it one of the most important social movements in Germany in recent years.
